Staying fit in college is all about balance. We’re all students, but we also have different priorities. These priorities can include homework, study sessions, participation in club organizations, social life, personal life, and work. It’s easy to put your health on the back burner because you have a ton of things on your plate. With a few simple strategies and by taking advantage of campus fitness resources, you can stay active, energized, and focused throughout the semester.

College life can be unpredictable, and finding time to work out or eat right often takes a backseat to deadlines and exams. However, small, consistent choices can make a big difference. Walking to class instead of driving, swapping sugary drinks for water, or doing a quick 20-minute workout in your dorm are all simple ways to stay on track. It’s not about perfection—it’s about creating habits that fit your schedule and lifestyle. Once you start building those routines, staying fit becomes less of a chore and more of a part of who you are.

Here at owl access we want to spread awareness about the inexpensive resources that Kennesaw State has to offer for you. You don’t need a gym membership, a personal trainer, you just need the courage to get out there and explore.
